Located in Colombiers-du-Plessis, La Goderie offers for rental 2 x 2 bedroomed gites, each sleeping up to 5 people (2 adults, 3 children) travel cots are also available for babies.
The complex offers a heated outdoor inground swimming pool (open May through to September) a crazy golf course, table tennis, pool table and darts board, badminton, trampoline, garden games and boxed games for indoors. There are extensive mature gardens of over an acre for all visitors and guests to enjoy.
There is secure parking for upto 5 vehicles, and a garage can be made available on request.
Each Gite offers an independent private terrace with outdoor table and chairs, there is also a larger communal terrace with bar area, barbecue with additional outdoor and undercover seating area’s.
For larger parties/group bookings we also offer our private barbecue area which seats 10/12 people.
Local Interests
Location
Located in rural France but having good accessibility.
Locally there is the town of Gorron, just 5kms away. Here you will find 2 supermarkets, 2 petrol fillings stations, pharmacy, doctor, dentist, boutiques, vet, butchers, boulangeries, cinema, indoor swimming pool (open air July and August), DIY store, sports centre, football and tennis facilities, bars and restaurants. There is also a market each Wednesday where you can get all your fresh products.
Gorron also offers a water sports facility with kayaking and canoeing, laser paint balling, football golf, zipwires, Climbing Wall, skatepark and new for 2023 a Golf Driving Range.
Colombiers-du-Plessis also has a botanical garden, with cafe facilites, museum, ponds and a waterwheel. They also have a Maize maze which is available June through until October, great fun for all the family.
Carelles is just 2 minutes away. There is a local shop, bar, tabac and restaurant all in the same establishment.
Ernee is a 15 minute drive, it is a larger town than Gorron but offers similar facilities.
The nearest main commune is Mayenne which can be reached by vehicle in 25 minutes.
Laval is a larger town and can be reached by vehicle in 40 minutes, Laval has a large Train Station and you can travel to Paris from here in around 2 hours.
Both Mayenne and Laval have hospitals, major shopping centres, many French restaurants and bars, Chinese Buffet style restaurants, Indian and fastfood outlets such as Burger King, KFC, Dominoes and McDonalds.
There are 9, 18 and 27 hole Golf courses all within a 1 hour commute from the complex.
Mont St Michel is 1 hour by vehicle.
There are many pretty idyllic villages all within easy reach.
Ambrieres and St Frambault are just 15 mins away both have water sport facilities.
There is also a Riding School just 20 mins away.
Travelling to La Goderie
The ferry ports of Caen and Saint Malo are both approximately 1 hour 50 minutes away by car.
Rennes Airport is approximately 1 hour by car.
Nantes Airport is approximately 2 hours by car.
Calais is around 5 hrs.
